Use [BRACKETS] for Placeholders, Not Real Data

When you write a prompt, you'll often need to fill in specifics: company name, pain points, your solution's features. There are two ways to handle this.

The wrong way: write the actual company name, actual deal details, and real contact information directly into the AI tool. This embeds sensitive data in your chat history and makes the prompt impossible to reuse.

The right way: use [BRACKETS] as placeholders when building the prompt, then replace them each time you use it. Example: [PROSPECT_NAME], [COMPANY], [PAIN_POINT_FROM_DISCOVERY].

All prompts in Promptifi use this format. The brackets are your signal to personalize. Replace them with real information when you're ready to use the prompt — don't just send the output with brackets still in it.
