Load Your Prompt With Context Before Asking

Most AI outputs fail not because the prompt was bad, but because the prompt didn't include enough context about the specific situation. AI models can only work with what you give them. The more relevant context you include, the more relevant the output.

The four context dimensions that matter most in sales prompts:

1. The buyer context: Who is this person? Title, company, industry, what you know about their pain, their language from previous conversations.

2. The deal context: What stage are you in? What's been agreed? What's unknown? What's the timeline?

3. Your solution context: What are you selling? What's the one-line value proposition? What are your key differentiators?

4. The output context: What is this output for? Who will read it? What should happen after they read it?

A prompt that includes all four dimensions will produce output you can use immediately. A prompt that includes none of them will produce generic content you'll spend 20 minutes editing.

Pro tip: Paste actual language from your prospect's emails, LinkedIn posts, or call transcripts into the context field. When the AI uses their exact phrases back, the output feels remarkably personal.
