Why this matters for sellers

If your calls already run on Zoom, the recording, the summary and now the sequence and the forecast can sit with the same vendor. That is the pitch, and it is a real one: the rep stops copying call context into a separate engagement tool, and the manager stops reconciling a forecast built somewhere the calls never were. The cost is a second kind of lock-in. Your conversation data, your outreach cadence and your commit number would all live with the company that also owns your meeting link, which makes leaving harder each quarter you stay.

In plain English

Zoom Revenue Accelerator is Zoom's conversation intelligence product: it records, transcribes and analyses sales calls held on Zoom. Until now it was a place to review what happened. Engage adds a sales engagement layer, the category standalone sequencing tools sell, where a rep runs a scheduled series of emails, calls and tasks against a list of prospects. Forecast adds the layer forecasting vendors sell, where deal signals roll up into a number a leader can defend and drill into.

"Deal-level signals" means what was said and promised on the calls Zoom already has, applied to the forecast rather than left in the transcript. "Drill-down from company commitments to individual opportunities" means the number can be opened, layer by layer, until you reach the single deal that moved it. "Multichannel sequences" is the standard engagement-tool idea: an email on day one, a call on day three, a task on day five, automated until someone replies.

Common Room, which Zoom now sells directly, tracks buyer signals from before a deal exists: who is visiting, posting, or showing up, before anyone books a meeting.

The short version: Zoom is bundling outreach and forecasting on top of call analysis and selling the bundle as ZRA Elite, so the tool that records your calls now wants to run your cadence and your commit.

Zoom announced two additions to Zoom Revenue Accelerator on September 15, 2026: Engage and Forecast. In Zoom's words, Engage "builds structured multichannel sales sequences across email, phone, and other tasks, prioritizes seller follow-up, and uses automated triggers to help teams reach the right prospects at scale." Forecast "turns deal-level signals into a live forecast, with drill-down from company commitments to individual opportunities." Both ship inside a new offering, ZRA Elite, which "combines ZRA Premium with Engage and Forecast." Zoom also said Common Room by Zoom, which "connects buyer and customer signals across the lifecycle," is "now available for purchase through Zoom."

Announced: September 15, 2026, Zoom press release.
Availability: Common Room by Zoom is stated as available for purchase now. No availability date is given for Engage, Forecast or ZRA Elite beyond the announcement itself.
Price: Not stated.
Regions: Not stated.

Zoom cites one customer result: Barracuda Networks "reported a 15% increase in deals closed, 5% faster deal velocity, and sales reps reaching 100–140% of quota using Zoom Revenue Accelerator." Zoom also notes IDC named it a Leader in its 2026 MarketScape for unified revenue orchestration.

What it doesn't do: The release names no price, no ship date for Engage or Forecast, and no CRM it connects to. It does not say whether Engage or Forecast can be bought outside the Elite bundle. The Barracuda figures describe the existing Revenue Accelerator product, not the two new modules, so they say nothing yet about whether Engage or Forecast work.

What it means for you

SDR — Engage matters to you only if your company moves sequences onto it, and that is a RevOps decision, not yours. What you can do now is ask the question that decides whether it is any good: does a prospect's behaviour on a recorded call change what the sequence does next? If the answer is no, it is a sequencer with a Zoom logo. If yes, it is something a standalone sequencing tool cannot copy easily.

AE — Forecast reading your own calls is the part to watch. A forecast tool that hears you say "they need it before the Q4 board meeting" and checks the close date against it will surface your optimism before your manager does. Expect the commit conversation to cite your own words back at you, and start making the next steps you agree on a call the ones you actually mean.

Manager — The drill-down is built for your Monday. Before you want it, decide what you will do with a forecast that disagrees with a rep's gut on evidence from the call itself. Teams that have not agreed what "commit" means will get a more precise argument, not a more accurate number.

RevOps — Three unknowns to close before a pilot: price, whether Engage and Forecast are sold outside the Elite bundle, and which CRM the deal signals write to. The release states none of them. If your engagement-tool contract renews this year, this announcement is useful in that negotiation whether or not you buy from Zoom. If it does not, wait for the module-level detail.

What to run

Whatever tool produces the forecast, the commit still has to be argued by a person with evidence. Practise the inspection before the software does it for you, with prompts built for pipeline review, forecast narratives and commit management.
