Gong's autumn release adds third-party contact and account data from ten providers, plus an agent that investigates deal questions. Both are available now.
What a rep feels is not the data layer, it is what shows up in the account record on Monday. Enrichment that fills in the four people you never found turns the multi-threading plan you keep postponing into a list with names on it. The pressure runs the other way too: once the contact record is complete, single-threading stops looking like a research problem and starts looking like a choice, and your manager can see the difference.
Enrichment means filling in missing fields on a person or company record - a job title, a direct dial, a headcount - by looking them up in an outside database instead of typing them yourself.
The Revenue Graph is Gong's name for the picture it builds of your accounts, people and deals out of calls, emails and CRM records. Adding third-party data to it means that picture stops having holes where a buyer's details should be.
Gong Credits are a prepaid balance you spend on those lookups, as an alternative to holding your own contract with a data provider.
An agent, in this release, is a saved set of instructions that runs when something happens - a deal slips a stage, a call mentions a competitor - rather than when you click a button.
The short version: Gong will now go and find the contacts your CRM is missing, and let you ask it harder questions about why a deal is stuck.
Gong announced Mission Callisto on 30 September 2026 at its Celebrate '26 customer conference, a release built around closing gaps in account and contact data and letting Gong Assistant investigate deal questions on its own.
Announced: Gong Enrich, which expands the Gong Revenue Graph with third-party contact and account data from ten launch partners - Apollo, Findymail, Firmable, Kernel, LeadIQ, Lusha, RocketReach, Wiza, ZeroBounce and ZoomInfo. Customers connect multiple providers, configure search priority, and fill gaps using Gong Credits or their own partner data. Also announced: Deep Mode, an agent inside Gong Assistant for investigating complex business questions; Agent Builder, for creating custom agents that respond to defined events and conditions described in natural language; and Gong Activate, positioned as the next generation of Revenue AI.
Availability: Gong Enrich and Deep Mode are stated as now generally available. Expanded Gong Dashboards, automatically triggered Custom Agents and further Gong Assistant enhancements are stated as rolling out throughout this year.
Price: Not stated.
Regions: Not stated.
What it doesn't do: Enrich does not give you data for free. It is a routing layer over providers you either already pay for or buy through Gong Credits, and the announcement puts no price on either. Gong Activate's availability is not stated anywhere in the release. And the automatically triggered agents, the part that would actually take work off a rep's desk, are described as rolling out through the year rather than shipped.
SDR - Enrich only reaches you if your team buys it, because the prospecting data you work from is usually a separate contract. Watch for consolidation: if Gong becomes the place contacts get resolved, the lists you are handed get better and the case for your own seat on a standalone provider gets weaker.
AE - Run one account through it before you believe any of it. Take a live opportunity where you know only the champion, see how many named people come back, and treat anything above two as a reason to rebuild the stakeholder map this week rather than next quarter.
Manager - Deep Mode is the one to govern. An agent that answers complex questions off call and CRM data will get used to settle arguments in pipeline review, and it will be wrong sometimes. Decide now whether its output counts as evidence or as opinion, before somebody forecasts off it.
RevOps - The configuration is the job. Provider priority order, Gong Credit spend and the overlap with contracts you already hold are all yours to set, and the automatically triggered Custom Agents have not shipped yet, so you have this quarter to write the rules before anyone can stand up an agent that writes to the CRM.
A longer contact list only pays for itself if somebody sequences it. Take one account where new names have just appeared and build the outreach order before the records go stale.
Two minutes, once a week. What changed in AI, and what to run because of it.
