Deal and Project Status Tracker

What this task does

Deal truth is scattered: a commitment in Slack, a date in email, a doc in Drive, a meeting on the calendar. This weekly sweep reconciles all four into one tracker per deal — status, blockers, commitments in both directions — and writes the summary your manager actually reads.

Set up once

  1. Authorize Gmail, Slack, Drive, and Calendar connectors (read-only).
  2. Use consistent deal/project names across tools so matching works.
  3. Run Friday before you close the week.

The task brief

Paste this into Claude Cowork:

Build my weekly status sweep for [FILL IN: deals/projects list]. Search Gmail, Slack, Drive, and Calendar for activity on each this week. Per item output: current status, what moved, blockers, commitments I made (with dates), commitments others made to me (with dates), and next milestone. Then one exec summary paragraph across everything, and a Monday morning to-do list from the commitments.

What you get back

  • One tracker reconciling all four tools
  • Both sides of the commitment ledger, dated
  • Your Monday list, written Friday

Guardrails

  • Cross-tool sweeps read broadly — keep connector scopes read-only.
  • Verify any commitment before you chase someone about it.
