Meeting Notes to Slack Briefing via Zapier + Claude

What this automation does: When a meeting recording is processed by your note-taking tool (Fathom, Fireflies, or Otter), the transcript is automatically sent to Claude, which generates a concise Slack briefing: key decisions made, action items with owners, and the single most important next step.

Why it matters: Meeting summaries rot in note-taking tools that nobody checks. Slack is where your team actually lives. This automation brings the intelligence from every call into the communication channel your team uses — immediately after the call ends.

How to set it up:

1. Connect your note-taking tool to Zapier (Fathom, Fireflies, and Otter all have native Zapier integrations)
2. Trigger: "When a new meeting note is created"
3. Add a Claude API step with this prompt: "Summarize this meeting in 5 bullets or fewer. Include: 1 key decision made, up to 3 action items with owners, and the single most important next step. Use plain language."
4. Add a Slack step: Post to the relevant channel (e.g., #deal-room-[company] or #sales-team)
