Job Posting Intent Signal Scan

What this task does

Companies announce their initiatives in job postings before they talk to vendors. This task sweeps your target list weekly for the roles that predict need for your product, and hands you the 'why now' for each account.

Set up once

  1. Keep accounts.md in the workspace with your top 25-50 target accounts.
  2. List the job titles and posting keywords that signal a fit for what you sell in signals.md.
  3. Schedule this as your Monday-morning run.

The task brief

Paste this into Claude Cowork:

For each account in accounts.md, search current job postings for the roles and keywords in signals.md. Rank accounts by signal strength (number and seniority of relevant openings, how recent). For the top five, write a two-sentence outreach angle that connects the hiring pattern to the problem we solve. Cite the postings.

What you get back

  • A ranked intent report across your account list
  • Five ready outreach angles tied to specific, citable postings
  • A weekly diff: which accounts heated up or cooled off

Guardrails

  • Spot-check any researched fact before you repeat it to a buyer.
  • Reference the initiative, not the individual posting, in outreach — nobody likes feeling scraped.
