Conference Follow-Up Sequencer — Batch Process Your Business Cards

What this automation does: After a conference or networking event, you enter your contacts into a Google Sheet (name, company, title, what you discussed, any commitment made). Claude API processes each row and generates a personalized follow-up email for every contact. All emails are output into the sheet or pushed directly to your outreach tool.

Why it matters: The window for conference follow-up is 24-48 hours — after that, the warmth from the in-person connection fades fast. Most reps follow up with 30-40% of their conference contacts because writing individual emails for 20+ people is too time-consuming. This automation makes 100% follow-up achievable in under 20 minutes.

How to set it up:

  1. Create a Google Sheet with columns: Name, Title, Company, What We Discussed, Commitment Made, Status
  2. After the event, fill in your contacts while memory is fresh (even voice-to-text into your phone works)
  3. Use Make to trigger: For each row where Status = "Pending", send to Claude API
  4. Claude uses the Post-Event Follow-Up prompt from Promptifi, filling in the contact details from your sheet
  5. Output the generated email back to the sheet (or push to Gmail drafts)
  6. Review, make any personal edits, and send

For teams: This workflow scales to team-level conference follow-up. One person manages the sheet, all reps contribute their contacts, and Claude generates personalized emails for the entire team's network simultaneously.

Estimated time saved: 15-20 minutes per follow-up email. At a 30-contact event, that's 7-10 hours of follow-up work compressed into 20 minutes of review.
