Auto-Score Inbound Leads via Make + Claude

What this automation does: Every time a new inbound lead submits a form on your website, this automation pulls their company data (from Clearbit or ZoomInfo), sends it to Claude with your ICP scoring criteria, gets back a scored assessment, and either routes the lead to an AE (high score) or adds them to a nurture sequence (low score) — automatically, before any human touches it.

Why it matters: The average SDR or AE spends 20-30 minutes manually researching and qualifying each inbound lead. This automation does it in under 60 seconds and ensures every lead gets an immediate, researched response rather than sitting in a queue.

How to set it up:

  1. Create a Make scenario triggered by "New form submission" from your form tool (HubSpot, Typeform, etc.)
  2. Add an HTTP module to call Clearbit or ZoomInfo API with the lead's email domain to enrich company data
  3. Pass the enriched data to Claude API with your ICP scoring prompt (use the Promptifi ICP Scoring prompt as the basis)
  4. Parse Claude's JSON response for the score and recommendation
  5. Route: Score 35+ → create CRM deal + notify AE. Score under 35 → add to nurture sequence

Estimated time saved: 20-30 minutes per inbound lead. At 20 inbound leads per week, that's 7-10 hours reclaimed monthly.
