Breeze put four AI agents and a data-enrichment layer directly inside HubSpot, aimed at teams without an ops function to build their own.
Mid-market teams rarely lose to enterprise competitors on effort — they lose on the research and enrichment layer a larger org pays people to run. Breeze puts that layer inside the CRM they already have, which is a different proposition from another tool to buy.
An agent here means a feature that completes a defined job end to end rather than answering a question. HubSpot shipped four: Prospecting, Content, Social Media and Customer.
Breeze Intelligence is the separate piece and arguably the more consequential one. It is data enrichment — filling in missing company and contact fields automatically — which is the unglamorous work that determines whether any of the rest produces sensible output.
Breeze Copilot is the third piece — a conversational assistant surfaced across the platform, closer to a chat box than to an agent, and the part most reps will actually touch first.
The short version: AI that does defined jobs inside HubSpot, plus a layer that quietly fixes the record data underneath it.
HubSpot announced Breeze at INBOUND 2024 on 18 September 2024, alongside hundreds of other product updates.
Agents: Four at launch — Prospecting, Content, Social Media and Customer.
Data layer: Breeze Intelligence, for company and contact data enrichment.
Assistant: Breeze Copilot, surfaced across the platform.
Availability: Staggered — agents shipped on different dates after the announcement rather than all on launch day.
Price: Not stated in the announcement; tier inclusion and credit consumption were not specified.
What it doesn't do: the announcement did not state which tiers include which agents, and that is the question that decides whether any of this reaches your team. Enrichment also does not verify — it fills fields from inference and third-party sources, so a populated field is not the same as a confirmed one.
SDR — The Prospecting Agent is aimed directly at you. Treat its output as a first draft with a named source, not as finished outreach — enriched data is still inferred data.
AE — Deal intelligence matters more than the agents. Better-populated records mean forecast and stage conversations start from something closer to reality.
Manager — Enrichment changes your reporting baseline. Fields that were empty are now populated by inference, so historical comparisons across the enrichment date are not comparing like with like.
RevOps — Yours to govern. Decide which fields Breeze Intelligence may overwrite before you switch it on, because automatic enrichment writing over human-entered values is very hard to unpick afterwards.
Enrichment fills fields; it does not tell you which account deserves your week. Make that call deliberately before you trust a populated record.
Two minutes, once a week. What changed in AI, and what to run because of it.
