Claude now builds a dashboard of your Salesforce opportunities that stays current as the data changes. Dashboards are a paid-plan beta; Docs, Slides and Design are on every plan.
A pipeline view usually means a request to RevOps or an hour in a report builder. If your Salesforce is already connected to Claude, a manager can now ask for the view in a sentence, check the query behind any number, and come back to a chart that has refreshed on its own. That shortens the gap between a question in a forecast call and a chart on screen. The limits are real: it is a beta on paid plans, Enterprise admins must switch it on, and Anthropic itself calls it a tool for exploratory questions. The access details here are as Anthropic stated them on October 8; check your own plan and admin settings before you plan a review around it.
A "dashboard" here is a page of charts Claude builds for you in the conversation. "Live" means it reads the data again as the data changes, instead of freezing a copy the moment you asked. "Connector" is the link you set up between Claude and another system, such as Salesforce. Without that link, Claude cannot see your pipeline.
"Beta" means the feature works but is still being tuned. "Out of beta" for Docs, Slides and Design means those are now regular features on every plan, including Free. "Click any number to see its query" means you can check exactly which records and filters produced a figure before you repeat it in a meeting.
The short version: if your Salesforce is connected to Claude on a paid plan, you can ask for a pipeline dashboard in plain words and it will keep itself up to date.
Anthropic published "Build live dashboards and animate explainers with Claude" on October 8, 2026. Two new artifact types entered beta: Claude Dashboards, which builds a dashboard from a connected data source and "keeps it current as the data changes," and Claude Motion, which builds a short, editable animation you can download as an MP4. In the same post Claude Docs, Claude Slides and Claude Design left beta.
Announced: October 8, 2026.
Availability: Dashboards in beta on paid plans; Motion in beta on Team and Enterprise; Docs, Slides and Design on every plan, including Free. On Enterprise, Dashboards and Motion are off by default and an admin turns them on in Organization settings > Artifacts.
Price: Not stated beyond the plan you already have.
Regions: Not stated.
Dashboards read from data platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake and ClickHouse, and from connectors such as Salesforce. Anthropic's own example: "you can ask for a dashboard of your Salesforce opportunities." Each chart shows when its data was last refreshed, and you can click any number to see the query behind it or ask Claude to explain it. Sharing outside your organization or by link works only "if your admin allows it."
What it doesn't do: Anthropic positions Dashboards for "quick, exploratory questions" and points deeper analysis to BI tools, so it is not a replacement for your forecasting system. It needs a data source already connected to Claude; with no Salesforce or warehouse connection there is nothing to chart. Motion is "built for explaining your own work" and does not use a video generation model. The post does not say Dashboards write anything back to the CRM.
SDR - The useful view for you is your own activity against meetings booked, if those fields live in the CRM Claude can reach. Ask for one chart, not a wall of them, and click the number before you quote it to your manager. If your company has not connected Salesforce to Claude, this is not yours to set up.
AE - Ask for your open opportunities by stage with close date and last activity, then sort by the deals that have not moved. Use the click-through on any number to confirm the filter matches how you count your pipeline. Treat it as a prompt for your own deal review, not as the forecast you submit.
Manager - This is the one built for you: a stage-by-stage view of the team's pipeline you can ask for before the forecast call and reopen the next week without rebuilding it. Agree with RevOps on what counts as an opportunity and a stage entry before reps start building their own versions, or you will argue about definitions instead of deals.
RevOps - On Enterprise, Dashboards are off until an admin turns them on in Organization settings > Artifacts, and link sharing depends on your admin settings. Decide who may connect Salesforce to Claude and whether dashboards may be shared outside the company before you enable it. Anthropic does not say Dashboards write to the CRM, so assume read-only until you see otherwise.
A live chart tells you where the pipeline sits; it does not tell you why deals stall. Run the pipeline health and velocity bottleneck prompt on the same numbers your dashboard shows, so the calculation and the interpretation stay separate.
