Projects gives a team one shared, persistent knowledge base per workstream, so Claude stops starting every conversation from zero.
Uploading your ICP, pricing sheet and objection handling once, then working inside that context all quarter, removes the re-briefing tax that makes most rep AI use shallow.
Anthropic released Projects on 25 June 2024 for Pro and Team customers on claude.ai. Each project holds a curated knowledge base with a 200,000-token context window — roughly 500 pages — that Claude grounds its answers in. Projects support custom instructions, and Team users can share snapshots of their conversations with colleagues.
Projects also carry Artifacts, a side-by-side working view for documents and code. Anthropic stated that project data is not used to train its models without explicit consent. The 200,000-token ceiling per project is the only capacity limit given.
