This prompt creates a set of 'implication iceberg' discovery questions that go deeper than typical surface-level pain exploration — surfacing the financial, organizational, strategic, and career-risk implications of the problem being discussed. Use it when discovery stops at symptom identification and never gets to why the problem has to be solved now.Most implication questions in discovery are one level deep — 'what happens if this continues?' — but the most effective ones get below the waterline to the four or five downstream consequences that make the problem genuinely urgent.
