Chain Steps

This is a 3-step chain for cold callers. Takes 5 minutes before the call and 3 minutes after.

Step 1 — Pre-Call Brief (Before the call)

Prompt: "I'm cold calling [NAME], [TITLE] at [COMPANY] in [INDUSTRY] in the next 10 minutes. Give me: (1) What they likely care about in their role, (2) One hypothesis about their biggest pain in [YOUR SOLUTION AREA], (3) My opening statement — one sentence that references their role and connects to a relevant challenge, (4) Two questions to keep the conversation going if they don't hang up. Keep it to 5 bullets."

Step 2 — Objection Response (During or after the call)

Prompt: "I'm on a cold call and the prospect said: '[EXACT OBJECTION THEY RAISED]'. Give me: (1) The real concern underneath this objection, (2) A 2-sentence response that acknowledges the concern and redirects to a discovery question, (3) The follow-up question to ask immediately after the response. Under 75 words total."

Step 3 — Post-Call CRM Entry (Within 5 min of hanging up)

Prompt: "Convert my rough call notes into a CRM entry. Notes: [PASTE YOUR ROUGH NOTES]. Format: Call Summary (2 sentences), Contact Disposition (Connected / No answer / Gatekeeper / Left voicemail), Key Intel (bullet list), Next Action with date. MEDDIC indicators: any signals on Metrics, Economic Buyer, Pain, or Champion? Under 150 words."
